Album Notes
I am classical pianist from Belgrade, Serbia but came over to London at the age of 11 to go to a specialist music school and then on to the Royal Academy of Music where I did my Undergraduate and Masters Degrees. Besides music, I am a very keen traveller and love languages, psychology and photography - things I get to indulge in a great deal whilst travelling for concerts. Please have a look at my website ( for more details.

The pieces on this CD by Chopin and Liszt (and my arrangement of Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba) are a mixture of their works and give a very small glimpse into their artistic powers. Liszt, in particular, made huge strides towards the end of his life in changing the established ways of musical expression at the piano, hinting at the things to come (such as a-tonal music) and making a huge break from the norm at times (for example with the B minor Sonata, which will perhaps be on the next CD, which goes on for over half an hour without a break). Chopin, of course, epitomized the marriage of the artistic and technological of the time by writing music which requires a singing tone and a myriad nuances of colour from the piano. Some of my musical idols are Horowitz, Rubinstein, Gilels, Pollini, Callas... I hope you enjoy the CD!

This is a long awaited, beautifully engineered CD from a future master!
Of especial interest, and beauty, is his personal arrangement for the piano of Handel's "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba"
this is masterful!
Otherwise it is a wonderful collection of Chopin and Liszt pieces, some of the most challenging pieces that could be played, and which are magically interpreted.
Well done, can't wait for the next CD, please!
