Album Notes
This is the first album of the Urban Maze Trilogy. It's an album of instrumentals in Common (4/4) time-signature. Featured instruments: electric and acoustic guitar and synthesizer.
The album features Rock and Pop instrumentals, intended for use as background media music. There are a few instrumental versions of songs released on other Viktor’s albums.
The compositions on the album were recorded between 1998 and 2015.
All songs are written and performed and sung by Viktor Mastoridis, with the following exceptions:
• Rock-a-Billy – Andy Dewar arranged drum-machine and produced the piece.
• A Bluesy Rendezvous, Ibiza Partytur, Sunshine, Rhythm and Blues and Bluesy Relaxation: – co-written with John Hudson, who also plays piano and organ
• Melting Mediterranean Sun: co-written with Emil Rangelov
The second, Urban Maze: Uneven, features instrumentals in uneven time-signatures or uneven (unusual) scales, typically used in the music of the Balkans. The third album, Urban Maze: Treble is an album of songs in several languages and a few genres.
