ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After having made the spontaneous (sometimes on-the-fly) recording of my first CD, Loop Du Jour, this new CD, "Razzamatazz" is everything BUT on-the-fly. All parts and sections were carefully crafted, yet there is plenty of improvisation going on. The record features quite a few very talented musicians local to the Los Angeles area including, Matt Demerritt (Saxes and Flutes), Rob Mullins (Piano and Synth), Eric Huezo (Drums), the illustrious Andy Kravitz (Drums) and Michael Jost (Flamenco Guitar on "Rumba Raca.") This record was produced with loving care by George Madaraz, who made the impossible become a reality. I am grateful to him and those musicians (all friends of mine) who contributed to the record.
