Album Notes
Mike and Mel Muscarella are the husband & wife behind Violet Mary, the nearly famous indie-rock act from Rochester, NY. The duo has released four independent records with a rotating cast of characters backing them and been featured in publications from Fireworks UK to Elmore Magazine. Violet Mary has shared stages with such acts as moe., Dawes, and The Gin Blossoms while putting their music to work with The Ugandan Water Project, providing disease-free drinking water to schools in Uganda. When not making music, Mel and Mike put their feet up with their cats Nigel and Harriet, who both received their doctorates from Bard.

This record is the culmination of years of dinners and wine bottles and Cards Against Humanity with our dear friend, Penny Sterling. Penny is a story-teller and wanted to tell her stories in conjunction with our music. The complete stage show includes five stories from Penny and the five songs in this download.
