ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In her second disk, Vira Lozinsky, one of today's outstanding Yiddish singers, blends Yiddish lyrics written by her father, Mikhoel Felsenbaum, with a variety of musical styles like Romanian, Gypsy, Russian Romances, Tango, Waltz and others.
Some of the melodies are traditional Romanian and Moldavian songs.
The music is arranged and performed by Emil Aybinder, master accordionist and expert on World music. Lozinsky's deep and moving voice, the virtuoso accompaniment by Emil Aybinder and his band, along with a repertoire which is both rare and catchy, make this disk unforgettable.
