ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In July 2016, Viviana Guzman uploaded a video of her experience when a humpback whale bumped her standup paddle board. The video went viral in the media outlets across the world including CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, Daily Mail, Huffington Post, etc as well as over 1 million views on her YouTube video.  This experience inspired her to attend the American Cetacean Society Conference in Monterey in November 2016 which is where she learned of the plight of the Vaquita Porpoise native to the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. This led her to want to record this album of flute and whale songs and dedicate 100% of the proceeds of the sale of this album to this critically endangered species.
