Veronica Felicia McNair Hamilton McBride affectionately known as V. McBride, is a vocalist, appointed by God. She has been married more than 20 years years to her high school sweetheart, John and the love of her love for almost 30 years. She previously worked as a paralegal by trade in the job market and had dreams of going to law school to become an attorney. She still loves law but her professional dreams have shifted. Another love and passion of V. McBride's is event coordinating. Since coordinating her own wedding back in 1995 she has grown to love coordinating and organizing all types of events from weddings to children's parties. This love led her and her husband to start their own event coordinating/party planning business in 2003, JonVee Services. Her church family is the wonderful Holy Spirit Ministries where her God-parents are visionary, (her spiritual father) and anointed Pastor Avery Jones along with his powerful in the Lord wife, (her spiritual mother) Evangelist and First Lady Albertha Jones. Along with singing with her church's praise team, she ministers with Spirit of Life Choir under the direction of Pastor Avery Jones. She attributes her love of music to her late mother, Stephanie, late father H. Clayton and her aunt Jaye. Her earliest experiences with singing and performing occurred at home with her family's talent shows when she was six years old. Her family loved listening and singing to all types of music and that helped music become a major part of her life. Because of her family's love of music V. McBride was surrounded by all genres. She grew up listening to the likes of Natalie Cole, The Spinners, Earth Wind and Fire,The Pointer Sisters, Barbara Streisand, Stylistics, Minnie Rippleton, Elton John, Roberta Flack, Donny Hathaway and Lou Rawls. Later when gospel became the forefront of her life those artists turned into contemporary and traditional gospel greats as well as contemporary Christian artists. God has given her a heart for the youth and through this she also has developed a passion for Hip Hop Gospel. Her secular music career first began singing in front of audiences other than her family when she was thirteen and continued singing by performing in talent shows, exhibition shows, weddings, banquets, funerals and graduations until she was 24 years old in 1996. It was not until late 1998 when she re-dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was born again that she realized the true purpose for her voice....to be a vessel and an instrument to sing God's praises. Knowing that it was never God's plan for her to only "preach" the Gospel, she knew it was to "sing" the gospel. Therefore, believing God for "MORE" and recognizing a higher call on her life, V. McBride was ordained as a minister via the laying of hands service and certified after completing ministerial classes through New Generation Ministries in 1999.

In 2003, under God's direction, she was led to the late Chaplin Dr. George Lopez. A covenant relationship was birthed with George Lopez who became a spiritual father to V. McBride. She was immediately signed to George Lopez Promotions and later George Lopez's record label, Kaleah Sounds. Under the tutelage of George Lopez, V. McBride's ministry flourished. This covenant relationship continued until George Lopez's untimely death in January 2009.

Jesus is V's healer, God has given V. McBride a heart for those with medical issues, the youth, especially young girls as well as those who are hurting and feel forgotten. The mandate that God has placed on her life is enormous but V. McBride says just as the Word of God says, "Here am I Lord, send me." Through the direction of the Holy Spirit, the love and prayers of her husband John, her best friend Nicole, her moms, Stephanie (RIP-9/4/12) and Mary, as well as her spiritual father and mother/God-Parents, Pastor Avery and Albertha Jones-there is nothing she cannot accomplish. In honor to God and in memory of one of her spiritual fathers, George Lopez, V. McBride's music ministry shall proceed on.
