ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Victor Rice has been an integral part of the NYC ska and reggae scene since 1990. As a bassist he has recorded and/or played with the Stubborn All-Stars, Scofflaws, NYSJE, Toasters, Desmond Dekker, Laurel Aitken among many others. As a producer he has worked with the Skatalites, Slackers, Adjusters, Articles, Rocker T, Skavoovie, Pietasters, Dr Ring Ding and many more.

"Victor Rice at Version City", his debut effort as a solo artist, is the culmination of his work from 1997-99 at that studio. It is the result of many sessions over that period of time, and feature a who's who of the NYC ska scene, at the beginnings of the traditional revival.
