ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Wahoo Creek Band plays a mix of Rock and Country originals that has been keeping the crowds dancing and begging for more since 2009. The band formed in 2009 and since has been playing over 100 shows a year up and down the Carolina Coast. They have been featured in multiple newspapers, online, and on the local Myrtle Beach, SC FOX TV show Not the News. The band was nominated in early 2011 for the Country Americana Band of the Year by the Carolina Music Awards Show held annually in Raleigh, NC. They have made this first album from a mix of live and studio cuts to show the level of energy in each performance and so those who have not seen them live can hear how they entertain the crowds with their high energy stage shows and great chemistry. They stop just short of calling themselves a full on country band but do admit to letting country influence the laid back southern acoustic style of The Wahoo Creek Band.
