ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
First and foremost, this album is dedicated to the person who saved my dad's life.

1. Traces of Memories: My dad was given a second chance to live by a generous donor. A couple of weeks prior to receiving his liver transplant, he had asked me to write a song for the family who would be grieving the loss of a loved one. The emotions were bittersweet that day. I was rejoicing that my dad's life had been saved, yet felt a profound sense of sorrow for the family I knew somewhere was deeply hurting over their loss. Traces of Memories is for that person. For their family. A simple, insufficient thank you. Truly, thank you! You saved my father's life.

2. Jaytee: While in Minnesota during Christmas time, we spent many days at the hospital. In one of the hospital buildings there was a piano for people to play. I played Jaytee several times over the course of the week. This song will always remind me of those moments in the hospital.

3. Silent Night: This was another song I played while spending time at the hospital. On Christmas Eve, my dad was allowed to leave the hospital and spend a few hours at home before having to return. Each family member shared a talent. I played this song. I will always remember this time when I hear Silent Night.
