Ear Candy!
I couldn't wait for this release after hearing a teaser Walfredo posted on his Instagram. It's here and I love it! Walfredo and his group of highly talented musicians did not disappoint. I'm not one to purchase whole albums or CDs, however I did with this one and I'm especially pleased that I like every song on it. The mix of genres, song choices, along with the musicians playing, are a force to be reckoned with. Oh and did I mention the drumming? Ha! Doesn't get any better!

Jamming at the Backed Potato - Walfredo Reyes Jr
I highly recommend the recently released Walfredo Reyes Jr 's Release "Jamming at the Baked Potato". Reyes has gathered together a collection of artists, writers and contributors to the CD making up a powerful punch of tunes that span the musical spectrum. Beginning the CD with a pop song "Nothing Can Come Between Us" it shifts quickly to the Latin sound of "El Matador" then moves effortlessly into the blues with "Slipping into the Darkness" and "The Sauce" which is a pure instrumental funk jam. The last 3 tunes give us a variety of reggae, rock and ending with a little R & B. If you haven't downloaded or purchased the CD do it now. Great performances, writing and guaranteed great listening. Five Stars

sexy 70s sound
Takes me back to the 70s when artists actually played instruments. A mix of jazz and latin fusion makes for one sexy cd. Well done.

Live at the Baked Potato
I listened to Wallyworld’s Live at the Baked Potato on my way from Philly to Myrtle Beach. This live album produced by Walfredo Reyes Jr. Is a must listen. The production is phenomenal, the song selection fantastic and Walfredo’s drum sound is incredible. Nuance, dynamics, and rhythm abound with the 5 incredible musicians in this line-up! Like cowbells, we need more!!
