Album Notes
A selection of compositional works by Wanees Zarour that bring a unique approach to World fusion. The compositions emphasize the Middle Eastern style of music with an untraditional use of rhythmic shifts, Jazz and classical arrangements as well as various Grooves from all over. Artists include percussionist Tareq Rantisi, bassist Nick Macri, guitarist Alexander Wing, flutist Elizabeth Diaz, clarinetist Athanasios Athanassiadis, cellist Hannah Vis. A string quartet is featured on two of the pieces. It is a thrilling listening experience with a lot to discover every time you listen.
