Real words set to current beats. Ingenious. Youth will listen and feel this CD
I am a therapist and mental health counselor with the Osiris Group in Boston and I've purchased Gunz, Poems & Rosez prior to it being featured on cdbaby.com. Some of my clients are young men and women living troubled lives. This CD has broken through and reached some of my most difficult clients. The G.R.I.O.T. Michael Bonds is a positive member of the Boston community and a fearless role model for young men in America. The poem SNITCHES speaks directly to them and breaks down the myth of Ghetto Ballin and Big Pimpin. NO LANGSTON is the poets real life story of life after ghetto celebrity is over and the prison doors are locked. I reccomend this CD for youth and parents in Urban America.
