ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In the deep of winter, Wes Davis drove a crappy car across the country recording in motels and flophouses along the way. His route took him from the heart of the old West in Bisbee, Arizona through Nashville and New Orleans, to the folk capitol of the Appalacian Mountains - Asheville, North Carolina. The songs are simple, featuring guitar and harmonica, with organic vocals. City Lights, the first track of the CD, has Dylan Charles – Arizona folk master - playing bass, upright piano and drums.

Some songs are featured in the upcoming Dylan Avery film "Buzzkill" - Wes Davis stars as himself, a coffee addict and musician.
