Album Notes
From the moment when Deby May joined the writing sessions led by song writer Jay Blake, something intriguingly special happened in the studio where Weekend On Mars, a group of experimented stage musicians, were working on a new album.

What was intended to be a muscled rock production, developed into an inspired and powerful CD, featuring twelve original songs which will immediately make it into your head, as if you had known them for some time. This work is lifted by masterful arrangements where roaring guitars are mingling with the state-of-the-art keyboard parts provided by Mario Tardio.

Ranging from Nightwish to Evanescence, Deby’s assertive emotional voice mixes beautifully with the solid rhythm guitars served by Jay who takes the lead vocals in a couple of cranky rock songs.

With evenly balanced interpretations throughout the album, both lead singers are delivering nice complementary vocals. Weekend On Mars releases an album taking the audience to a dimension of elegance, color and harmony where the dazzling guitar solos of Christian Clua are shining through the tracks like gems.

Pop-Rock fans will discover a set of well written songs conjuring up the conversations overheard in a subway train or on a busy street corner. Bits of young love, electric city life, suspective jealousy and affectionate advice, make it up to some lyrics that will let you catch the latest Rumors On the Town.

Weekend On Mars will take you on a journey to a whole new world with the energy of a pop band proposing a truly trendy sound.
