Album Notes
"The vocals of the two musical prodigies ...combine to create an audio tapestry that readily puts one in mind of some of country’s most beloved duos, including Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty or even James Taylor and Carly Simon.
Let’s put it this way: If Hank Williams Sr. or Woody Guthrie had female duo partners, they likely would have sounded like Well Worn Soles."
- The Washington Times

"A batch of fresh songs with a dark twist and some fine duet singing—Well Worn Soles are some comfortable listening."
- Buddy and Julie Miller

Well Worn Soles are Emerson Wells-Barrett and Chelsea Dix-Kessler.
The couple met while in college studying bluegrass, old time and country music.

The debut record from this young duo was recorded during the summer of 2014, for the most part in a house in south Austin Texas. The songs were written by Emerson, with the exception of "Train Wreck", which he co-wrote with Chelsea's mom, and "Cradle Of Rest", written by former teacher and mentor Will Parsons. The record was produced by Patterson Barrett and Emerson.
