Album Notes
This unique and groundbreaking album bridges divides in contemporary music by bringing together virtuoso instrumentalists from what sometimes seem to be different musical worlds - modern jazz and progressive rock, American and European scenes, black and white players, acoustic and electric instruments.

The music is a collaboration between legendary drummer Calvin Weston (Ornette Coleman & Prime Time) and Chicago polymath multi-instrumentalist Karl E. H. Seigfried. Together they have composed a unique album of new music that is driven by Calvin's powerhouse drumming and Karl's wizardry on guitar (electric, acoustic, lap steel) and bass (electric, fretless, upright).

Calvin and Karl are joined on the recording by an amazing array of players who have had a major impact on jazz and rock of the last half-century:

Jay Beckenstein (Spyro Gyra)
John Helliwell (Supertramp)
Thijs van Leer (Focus)
John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood)
Vernon Reid (Living Colour)
Todd Rundgren (Utopia)
Nik Turner (Hawkwind)
Jack Walrath (Charles Mingus Quintet)

There has never been a recording quite like this one. Check it out for yourself!
