Album Notes
Robin Barker is one of Canada's and North America's best known hairstylists, some call him the " hairdresser's hairdresser",
some call him "The King Of Makeovers" yet he has been writing songs for many many years. Finally he has put together a collection of his songs, sung and played by some of Toronto's finest . He has fulfilled a 25 year old dream by
producing this CD "What Are The Children Worth" which is a charity motivated project. All funds from the sales of the CD
go directly to the Stephen Lewis Foundation for Children Affected by AIDS in East Africa. Robin played upright bass as a teenager in the UK and was a huge Sinatra and Torme fan, now he believes that Michael Buble has changed the "sound"
of modern crooning. The bonus track pays homage to his Father, a lawyer who wrote this song.
