ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bernadette Russell and Gareth Brierley are experienced professional theatre performers. They run monthly live events in Brighton and London, each night based around a theme, like "Magic" or "Beasts". Local authors submit short stories based on the theme and then the White Rabbit storytellers read out the best of these stories, along with their own work.

To make this collection we lured Gareth and Bernadette into our cosy studio and carefully recorded their performances with vintage monophonic microphones, through a classic British Calrec mixing desk and straight into a 24-bit digital recorder, thus perfectly capturing every lurid detail of their performances. Several of the stories are set in 19th Century London, several of them feature dogs, there's quite a lot of magic, swearing and sauciness and even a little bit of gardening. Something for everyone, in other words.
