ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For five years, I played for the internationally known Folk-Bluegrass band 'Wildwood.' In that time, we released three albums, appeared on Public Television's 'AETN Presents' and were heard worldwide by over two million listeners on NPR's "Whad'ya Know" with Michael Feldman.

As wonderful as all that was, it does not hold a candle to the joy I feel playing music for God in my small church. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that I'm playing music that has real meaning and power. I am now leading worship at a young Emergent Church called Vintage Fellowship. My music speaks of living as a Christian in the Post-modern world. I don't try to sugar-coat it: we live in a dark world. There is so much sorrow and pain. And being a Christian does not insulate us from it all. In fact, I believe we are called to feel more deeply, care more passionately, and yes, even weep more freely than others. We are designed to love, and real love can hurt. Being a Christian doesn't mean all our problems will go away. It just means we trust God to know what's best in our lives, and we try to see His fingerprints in everything that happens to us, good and bad.

I'm not that sophisticated about my faith. I keep it simple: Jesus said to I should love God with all my heart and that we should love one-another. Well OK then. I'm going to try my best. I grow more convinced, with the passing of every year, that the only thing of true, lasting value in this world is love.

"Love is all you need." - The Beatles

"God is Love." - 1 John 4:16

Very Nice
Very cool and yet old school. Beatles and Beck influence apparent. So glad I bought it... so sick of cookie cutter praise music. Thanks White Robin!

Love It!
I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of styles and influences on this album! From the Beatle-pop sound of "True" to the smokin' blues of "Burn It" to the Irish lilt of "Hah-hah" to the Alt-country sound of "I Been Down." This is truly unlike any other Christian album I've ever heard. I think we will be hearing more from "White Robin" in the near future!
