Album Notes
This album covers so many bases, it belongs in the world series of Music & Art.

Kenny Whiteside first of all is actively performing in one of the hottest classic 50's groups in the United States, The Cleftones.

As a Cleftone, Kenny has performed in major venues such as on National QVC Television, the Nationally televised DooWop 50's show which was recorded at the Benedum Theater in Pittsburg., Westbury Music Fair, Nassau Colisium, The Meadowlands, and most recently at Madison Square Garden, in New York, just to name a few.

Kenny also performs tributes to the great vocal legends past and present such as Elvis, Jackie Wilson, Marvin Gaye, Englebert, Dean Martin, Lou Rawls, and Barry White.

Kenny is so entertaining and has such an impact on his audiences that he has been nick named "Kenny Las Vegas Whiteside".

Kenny is a master at vocal harmony and arrangements as you will experience on this album, singing all parts from bass to first tenor and silver tenor for those of you who like 50's style harmony.

Some vocalists will provide two part harmony on their CD's. However, it is rare to find one vocalist providing 5 different voice presentations on an entire album, which demonstrates Kenny's vocal versatility, control, and creative expression.

The Dancin & Romancin CD provides a fresh and totally millennium approach to some of your favorite classics such as Night & Day, presented with an easy listening Latin flare, or Only You (And You alone) which features Temptations flavored vocals and an elegant country blues guitar solo.

Each tune on this CD is different yet bound together by the vocal talents of Kenny Whiteside and the other talented musicians. There are 5 original tunes on the album, one of which is a wedding song arranged and sung in the flavor of The Bee Gees and The Stylistics, titled "I Love You So Much", a totally today song set for lovers.

"It's Not Too Late", a sensitive R&B ballad written and arranged by Kenny Whiteside and Melvin Miller, expresses both the R&B and Easy Listening Jazz genre and features a beautiful sax solo provided by the great Roger Byam.

We could go on and on about Kenny and the Dancin & Romancin album. However, give yourself a listening treat. For once you will buy a CD that has more than 2 songs that you will love, your friends will love, and your family will love.

Thank you if you purchase Dancin & Romancin. You won't regret it.
Enjoy the CD.
God Bless and may Peace be with you.

Very interesting album. A creative stretch for the traditional.
The CD is great if you like a variety of party and listening music. I think the new cross over renditions of the classic 50' tunes are great. If I am having company, this CD is a great ice breaker for a mixed crowd. I think the original tunes are good. You know light R & B, sort of bluezy, great for all age groups even if you like rap.
