Album Notes
Wildcat has been a Blues legend in Western Massachusetts for over twenty years, now has hot young band, and gorgeously CD from Spirithouse Recording, Northampton. Cat has been called "the Pioneer Valley's answer to Stevie Ray Vaughn" (Valley Advocate) as well as "As good a Blues lyricist as I've heard" (John Braheny of Taxi). He's been in Bo diddley's backup band, opened for every major Blues artist to visit here (Greg Allman, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, John Mayal,, Geils, Canned Heat, The Stray Cats) He now has his best band ever, including Nate "Lightning Boy" Dana, who allows him to take the now-Twin guitar attack even further. Living Blues called the Wildcat , "progressive without being disrespectful; traditional without being moldy"

I'm Blue!
Not since the mid-70s, when I'd dig through the cut-out bin in the K-Mart record section, have I come across such an interesting mix of musical genres. It's like Partridge Family meets Pebbles and Bam-Bam!

Just kidding:) I used to work for Bill at the Dove's Nest Restaurant back in the late 80's. I caught a couple of his live shows up in Vermont back then. He kicks butt! This CD does some nice butt-kicking too. Gotta love them guitars. The sound is polished, but not too slick. He keeps it real and clean. I like the addition of the lady back-up singers. Keep 'em coming Wildcat!
