ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Wild Dogs began their run as a recording school guinea pig for the future engineers to practice on..it was a major factor in why we got together and why there is such a large pool of recordings that I think the true fans of the band's lineage would appreciate .
After our initial compilation releases and our first full length lp was released and a little success came our way someone gave the others the idea that if I lost 20 lbs we could become major rock stars in months or if they got another singer who sang in a high register as was the standard issue of 1983 a search for a new singer took place ( I hadn't been informed of this or I would have agreed to manage and promote the band as that was my forte'( and why anyone knew of us at all... bold statement.. yes it's true as Wednesday afternoon.. the band more than likely would have never BEEN a real group and there would be a few demos ... I had a record deal already by this time and taught by one of the greatest pr dept men ever Andy McKaie . from CBS Keith Flax a great singer from local band sabotage was brought in and recorded a few tunes with him and as I was still in the band and booking shows they had time to search.. I had no clue this was happening I thought it was all hunky dory and had written 9 songs for the next record( the practice sessions by this time were a joke and a waste of time so I got kip doran and rick bagger to demo my songs so I could just teach them( but they said the songs that eventually landed as DR Mastermind were too heavy for the and their quest to match Black n blue with a major label deal ..during this time John Tejeda was brought in and was a solid replacement for me much to my surprise at a meeting with a potential manager.. when john failed to turn up for a show they called me back and we did a bunch of shows with Yngwie and Talas and culprit all the usual places it was great~! recording some tracks for the new lp many of what ive mentioned are on this cd.. soon enough the exact same thing happened again and Michael furlong was hired to be the newest new guy... and I was surprised once again. it was like your friend telling you your wife is screwing the postman... haha... a few years went by and Jeff called m up again to come over and record this time instead of someone else recording over r MY vocals I was recording over Theirs.. the Vulture aka Eat You Alive
was one of them... both versions are on this cd the original take with john Tejeda.. its cool to see how different singers react to the music jeff danny and deen make I hope you will find this interesting I had to cut it form 37 tracks down to 18 so there may be a part 2 or perhaps just free downloads for the people who buy this with a secret code on the box...
