A fine folk tribute to HMS Victory...
Surely Will's best album to date both lyrically and musically. Ably supported this time by a talented group of supporting folk musicians, including Simon Swarbrick, these 12 original tunes range from rousing, catchy sea shanties to gentle, lilting folk tales all themed around the 250th anniversary of the HMS Victory. Strong use of male/female backing harmonies coupled with fine musicianship helps to create an album full of atmosphere. depth and feeling resulting in a fine tribute to the brave souls of the HMS Victory, Mary Rose & The Battle of Trafalgar. Original album artwork helps to round off a fine release. Strongly recommended.
