ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Composer & Producer…

Will Easley stepped into the spotlight at the age of 14 years old on a dare with his spellbinding tenor voice. The young man captured first place in the talent competition in his hometown. His prize…he was the opening act for Charlie Pride at the Municipal Auditorium. This was the beginning of the professional singing career of Will Easley.

While serving in the United States Armed Forces, Will’s talent did not go unnoticed. He was assigned to Special Services while he traveled from bases to base entertaining the troops. His audience ultimately included foreign and domestic dignitaries and former President Gerald Ford.

Will signed with Redd Foxx Production after leaving the military, where the versatility of his singing voice led him into the wonderful world of the professional music business. Will has brought crowds to their feet, with his rendition of “God Bless the USA” to a winning performance on Star Mania in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was voted #1 “Male Vocalist” in their national competition.

Throughout Will’s career, it was a blessing for him to have graced the stage with performers such as James Brown, Ike and Tina Turner, The Commodores, Wilson Meadows, Ronnie Lovejoy, B.B. King, Little Melton, BeBe Winans, Ben Moore, Gwen McCrea, Denise LaSalle, Marvin Sease, Donnie Ray, the late Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations, and the late Johnny Taylor. Will was also the opening act for the #1 hit play “A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND.” Will’s CD single “Don’t Ya Like It” appeared on the European and different charts around the United States the first month released gaining great reviews from several major magazines.

Will Easley is a unique individual who cannot be categorized. Whether singing before children or adults, for audiences of a few or thousands, regardless of style, he reaches out and the audience is his! Will’s talent versatility and showmanship earned him a trophy from the “Music Makers Hall of Fame” and the production of a weekly variety television show (The Will Easley Show). Will appeared in the film production of “West From North Goes South” with Phyllis Diller, Tawanna Paige of “Sanford & Son,” and Morris Day of “The Time.” In addition, he has appeared on the USA Today Network, The Nashville Morning Show, and also he opened for Roy Jones on HBO where he brought the crowd to their feet when he sang a Lee Greenwood song “God Bless the USA.”

Will is currently spreading his talent throughout the United States. He was voted the #1 entertainer in the State of Alabama according to Mr. Walter Leroy of the Capital City News. Dean Johnson of B&S Soul Magazine of Europe was quoted as saying that Will Easley was the best new signed artist.

Will is currently being managed by Mr. Robert Henderson of R.H. Production and currently signed to a record deal with his new record label CDS Records based in California. Will give credit for his success in the music business first and foremost to the Almighty God and his mother the late Mrs. Voncile Williams. Will’s mother was also a vocalist and his father Willie Easley, Sr. is a former trumpet player. Will also give credit to the late Jackie Hulse, a former school teacher who is responsible for getting Will his first professional singing job, his cousin Sanford Jones and William Moss (Big Daddy Moss) who taught him his first song and one of Will’s best friends the late great Eddie Kendricks who always told Will you are never too old to be who you are.
