ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
This was an album I always wanted to record because of the love and appreciation I had for jazz standards. Being a young boy growing up, I often heard popular standards played through the house on my dad's record player as he and mom would dance to those moving love ballads. It was always so pleasant and relaxing listening to the sultry voice of Nat King Cole and the soulful flavor of Ray Charles. My mom would often encourage me to learn jazz standards and I'm glad I listened!

I hope you enjoy my arrangement and interpretation of these songs. Cheers to jazz standards; the only music that transcends generations after generations after generations...
