ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The creative spark for this EP came back in 2017 on Will's first tour of China. So many inspiring places and people, and so much inspiring music, Will set to work creating new compositions that would try and capture some of the magic. Two years later and these five pieces were ready to record. The tracks were produced by veteran classical guitarist Gerald Garcia and recorded by Oli Whitworth in Oxford, with the project supported by Martinez and Mayson guitars. The title track, Rain on Qingming Bridge, tells the story of when Will was in the town of Wuxi, and a stranger suddenly handed him his umbrella as they walked towards each other on Qingming Bridge in the rain. A lovely gesture of good will which came out of nowhere, and summed up the kindness Will received on his tours in China.
