Album Notes
This music comes from the coast of Maine, after an all-night drive from the hills of New York, trying to find a way home from bar rooms and concert halls in Missoula, Tampa, Old Forge, and Bangor. You get another day, make the most of it. Let go of the things that take you down and learn to wail, until you feel good. Love people, miss those gone on, and be “up front” with the one you’re talking to. “… If the wheels you been riding, they ain’t working; it’s time to reinvent the wheel…”

This music is a love affair of guitars, percussion, and singing for the love of singing. Take three parts guitar, add two parts percussion, and a sprinkle of instruments you find laying around a musical home. Cover all with heart-felt singing, story-telling, and lots of harmony. Let it be a look at people, places, and things that you may find any day… Enjoy!

Liner Notes:

These are songs that I wrote years ago and these are songs that came to me as I worked on this recording. They are wisdom shared by my fellows and ideas sparked by the sunrise I drove toward as I came home from another night of music and coffee and talking to myself. I guess I can sing the blues but I may need some more dance lessons to really "live right". When I think about my friends who have gone on, I know the dragons are body, mind, and soul.

I'm thankful God treats me so good,
Knock on wood!

So I have my ear on the next sad story, my eye on the waitress, and late at night alone in my car, I wonder what happened to the world I was gonna save at 17...

I'd like to thank Adam Perry Smith for the song and the project yet to be done. You were a great friend and are well remembered.

I've driven a limousine to Lincoln
and a Rabbit to Castine
I drove a Chevy to a dead stop once
and I traded that machine
for a van that stranded the whole damned band
and there's one thing I can say
It's not about what you're riding
It's about "living good", Another Day...
