Who is behind Wired Planet?

Joseph Briggs: Producer and award-winning songwriter (John Lennon, Billboard, Unisong). Writer, producer, and engineer for artists on Warner Brothers, Universal, Dreamworks, Polygram, Verve, etc. Production experience includes all styles, from Hip-Hop & Rap, and Rock and Acoustic, to Ethnic, Gospel, Jazz, Pop, Ballads, and Electronica. Multi-Instrumentalist, including piano, bass, keyboards, accomplished studio vocalist. Vocal recording, arrangements, editing and production are a specialty. Musical director and producer for NY Post "Best Bands in New York City" group, Pan. Guitar Performance / Film-Scoring major at Berklee College of Music. Mentored by professors Kozel and Perl in digital audio editing, synthesis, programming and sequencing, hardware and software applications, recording, and mixing and mastering at the Sonic Arts Center, NYC. Jonathan Perl: Associate Director of the Sonic Arts Center, a unique recording/educational facility at The City College of New York. Teaches Digital Audio and Synthesis courses and helps determine the ongoing direction of the facility. BFA in Music from City College of New York (Piano). Owner of JP Music Bytes, NYC, a facility for music production and digital mastering. Plays piano, keyboards, guitar and found objects. Production experience in Rock, Acoustic, World, Blues/Roots. Songwriter and arranger. Scoring for Television and Film. As a specialist in Digital Audio and MIDI applications, Jonathan is currently a human computer interface.

Jonah (Briggs, Nestor, Perl): Features Lee Nestor, songwriter and vocalist, on lead and background vocals, and Eskimo drum. Tutu Tutani sings additional vocals. Walter Gonzalez plays drum kit, Eskimo drum, tablas, congas, bongos, shaker, rainstick, guiro, bell tree, cymbals. Michael DeCola plays Birimbau.
Rivers (Briggs, Perl, Barreto, Hughes): Features Lygya Barreto, Brazilian vocalist, writer, choreographer and dancer, on vocals. Lygya is the Founder and Artistic Director of the dance company Roots of Brazil. Also features the voice of Langston Hughes reading his poem "The Negro Speaks of Rivers". Andy Parsons plays tenor and soprano saxophones.

Tusekelele (Briggs, Perl, Tutani, Barreto): Features Tutu on vocals, with her Grandmother speaking to her on the telephone. Coronet played by Polygram artist Graham Haynes.
Walk With Me (Perl, Briggs, Harden): Features Roisin, vocalist and songwriter, as well as actress, from County Donegal in Ireland. Arnaldo Vargas plays the notorious Dominican penny whistle. Walter Gonzalez plays his tribal mutations.
Buttermilk Hill (Traditional, arranged by Perl, Briggs, Harden): Features the voice of e.e. cummings reading his poem "next to of course god america". Also features Roisin on vocals, and Walter Gonzalez on drums and tablas.
Buttermilk Hill Reprise (Traditional, arranged by Perl, Briggs, Haythe): Featured vocalists are Sean Haythe, who has regularly recorded and performed with C & C Music Factory, and Roisin.
