Album Notes
Jazz crooner and trumpeter Johnny Panzarella leads the San Antonio based, Johnny P. and The Wiseguys on their debut album, "Feelin' Alright!" The album is comprised of seven original numbers along with favorites from the Great American Songbook.

Echoing the stylings of Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, and Michael Buble, Johnny P. and the Wiseguys are very popular on the San Antonio jazz music scene and can be heard at local venues such as Luna, Sam's Burger Joint, Kirby's Prime Steakhouse, and Paesano's 1604. They have been featured artists at San Antonio's "Jazz'SAlive" festival, San Antonio's Fiesta Oysterbake, and Luminaria - Arts Night in San Antonio.

"The Panzarella-penned numbers, songs such as "Baby, Pretty Baby" and "Farewell to Love," nestle well alongside the chestnuts and showcase the considerable talents of singer/trumpeter Panzarella and the band while adding hip tunes to the book. It's a cinch dancers and listeners alike will be 'Feelin' Alright' thanks to Panzarella and his Wiseguys." -- JIM BEAL JR., SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS
