Wayne is a songwriter, an actor and a musical director. The original cast recording of his show Freeway Dreams has gone into its second printing. Other shows include There's No Place Like Hollywood, Music Drives Me Crazy, Much Moore and Adam & Eve & Steve. On TV and film Moore wrote the music for the HBO cartoon Frog And Toad Are Friends, PBS' Frontline, Be Well (starring Milton Berle), the Emmy-award nominated Down For The Count and the Emmy-winning Whatever Happened To Childhood?. His song "My Superman" is featured on the original cast CD The Gay 90's.

Wayne originated the parts of "Wayne" in the new musical Too Old For The Chorus, "Mutt" in Bark (Celebration Theatre), "Redfern" in Freeway Dreams (The Gardenia), "Toby" in Hollywood, Last Chance (Chappel Theater) and "Norman" in Not On The Menu (Masquers). He is ½ of the famed cabaret duo "Wayne & Brenda" and can be currently seen in a national commercial for Heineken.
