ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Women of the World (WOW) has always been in awe of the myriad traditions, musical styles and vocal nuances that color our world. From traditional arrangements, contemporary interpretations, or adaptations made by WOW itself, we are delighted to share songs and stories we’ve journeyed with, over the last decade together. This album was recorded live at The Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton, CA, on May 21, 2017 in front of a live audience. The songs and stories we shared represent Japan, India, Italy, Haiti, Canada, USA, Kenya, Hawaii, and Argentina.
