Album Notes
The Wood Floors shoot through a stratosphere of layered guitars, twinkling keys, and the dark corners of your mind as they launch the new CD Moon Dolls.

The CD takes off and lands with some instrumentals but The Wood Floors know it’s the span of the journey that makes the trip worthwhile and quite a trip it is. Standout musical transmissions are received in the songs “Getting By”, “For So Long”, “Back From The Moon” and “The Darker Side of You”. The Floors’ journey also circles the outside rings of funk with “ Shake It Off” before drifting to the wash of dark inner space of “If I Killed Myself”.

Fans of My Bloody Valentine, Stone Roses and shoe-gazing tunes will know this corner of the music system has been ventured into previously, but not always with the melodic planning The Wood Floors bring to the expedition. The layers of melody give the songs something new on each listen. It’s a journey through space that’s best when the mission is often repeated.
