ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Wrathchild was formed in 1980 in Evesham, England by Marc Angel and Phil "Wrathchild" Vokins. The group was an early band of the glam metal genre, starting off before other bands of the genre such as Mötley Crüe. In 1984, the band recorded and released their debut studio album, Stakk Attakk. It would spawn two singles; a cover version of the Gary Glitter classic "Doing Alright with the Boys" and "Trash Queen". The band released their second album, The Biz Suxx, in 1988. The album spawned a single, Nukklear Rokket, which had a promotional video that was produced by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. Bruce plays the protester in the video whilst the performance was filmed in the car park at his home in Chiswick. The band's third studio album, Delirium, was
released shortly after in 1989. It featured Grim Reaper's Steve Grimmet on backing vocals. And now in 2011 the band has to say this: “We are real excited to be working with Perris Records and that all of our fanz will finally get to hear what we’ve been up to these last few years. We thought long and hard about who to do this record with but at the end of the day it was a no brainer – the guyz at Perris cut their teeth getting off on the same vibez that we we’ve been into from the start of the Wrathchild journey. Perris Records (USA) have distribution networks worldwide second to none and more importantly they truly worship at the altar of all that is Rokk’n’Roll! In that we have a common creed. Let the crazee times begin !!”
