ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Why I Autumn is the 7th full album from X-Bax and the second to include Ken Huntington, who also appeared on the previous album Philturd (2015). The other X-Bax contributor is founder Phil Dole (of the Chicago-based power ambient group Chord). Why I Autumn features 3 new tracks and 3 live tracks taken from performances during the fall of 2015. The live tracks are dense, much like the material on Philturd, the new tracks are much sparcer and spacier. Vinyl afficiantos may want to keep their eyes peeled for a 12" containing "Cutting Trouble Like A Swift Taylor" and "Rock Detroit City With A Kiss" - it's being refereed to as a "single", but at 18 minutes a side, it's pretty much an LP-length single.
