Album Notes
One would be tempted to simply say that In The Shadow Of The Mouse is X-Bax's 10th album in 15 years, which, officially, it is. But from an outfit that also regularly drops little EPs, one-off tracks and singles (some clocking in at 60+ minutes), that's a misleading metric. Phil Dole's ambient-drone-noise project has been prolific, doubly so since Long Beach Huntington became an adjunct member in 2015, but even with all that output, a pile of one-off and left-over tracks accumulated between the Decembers of 2017 and 2019 and have been presented here. Also included, is "Oh Mickey, You're So Mouse", featuring Ladyshackles, who is half one of Phil Dole's other duos, Grand Kali Ma.
