Inner Oceans

by Xlr8r

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The original 8 track Inner Oceans album was recorded and mixed between the 5th and 23rd of December 1994 and was released with a one time only pressing of a 500 copies on May 11th 1995. The bonus tracks are taken from various demos between the years 1991 to 1996.

To descibe XLR8R's music is a tricky one. At its heart it was some form of Heavy Metal but at other times a softer, more poppy, alternative side could be felt. Then there was the full on epic and progressive sonic landscapes of tracks like Mountain or Stained. In summarising, it captures the eclectic nature of the period it was made in - sometimes slighlty at odds with it's era and at other times forging ahead into an unknown and uncertain musical future.
