ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Yet Another String Band presents 20 original tunes and songs featuring fiddles, mandolins, guitar, cello and vocal harmonies for folks who like a catchy melody and slightly twisted lyrics. From an ode to the beloved wiener dog to a ballad about baseball’s infamous Ten Cent Beer Night, YASB takes a not-so-serious view of life in its debut CD. It’s 63 minutes of music with an old-timey sound – often fast and furious, sometimes slow and sweet – from musicians who know their way around a fiddle shuffle and a clever turn of phrase. No hype or 5-star reviews. Just a nice way to spend an hour smiling and humming along.
