Album Notes
Yascha has spent the last five years in Portland producing and performing with many different northwest songwriters and bands. This is his first fully-produced solo record to date. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Yascha played drums, guitars, piano, vibes, and many other instruments on the record along with singing the lead vocals. At most of his gigs you will see open eyes, ears and hearts as his songs come from a very grounded place in the soul.

Yascha was joined by pedal steel virtuoso Paul Brainard and fiddle master Lex Browning among others on this album. "Spinning Like The Stars" has been compared to Nick Drake's "Pink Moon" for its lush production and diverse songwriting styles. "It's an absolutely beautiful record, I play it on the hill all the time" says portland legend Jim Boyer of this album.

This is a must have CD.
This Cd is for my desert island collection. It has all the spine tingling necessities to make it great. Lex Browning's fiddle is as always wonderful too. Yascha's
voice is a very special treat...he's right up there with Jimmy Boyer in my book.

this cd is like finding a fifty dollar bill on the side of the road.
This CD is now in my road trip collection, I just got back from a trip from Oregon to South Dakota, I don't think I changed discs one time. It is great.

it's about time yascha had a CD of his music.
yascha is one of my favorite writers ever. great musical ideas, but quite the poet. i love his tunes, but also the "if i only had a brain". more yascha CDs soon, please.
