About Ying-ying...

Ying-ying is a Taiwanese performing artist, who has been seen in two musicals (Taiwanese production of Off-Broadway hit 『I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.』 and Taiwanese musical 『April Rain』), performed with jazz musicians at various events, performed with Taiwanese a cappella group Semiscon and done backup singing for pop singer Wang Leehom’s 2008/2009 Music Man World Tour. Ying-ying’s first solo album “Someone Is Praying for You” was released in May 2009, followed by a holiday album released in November the same year. Ying-ying founded the Ying-ying Shih Jazz Band with five of her jazz musician friends in early 2009 and they have been working on creating their original music and lyrics ever since.
