Chris's soothing English (female) voice guides you safely through a gentle Hatha yoga practice, including the three core elements of breath, postures and relaxation.

It is suitable for most ability levels - even if you think you're not fit or flexible. But, as with any new kind of exercise, check with your doctor first if you're unsure.

There are a few things need:
* a yoga mat or no-slip floor
* something to sit on, such as the edge of a chair, yoga blocks or firm cushions
* a belt, stap or scarf

Chris Holt has been practising yoga since 1995 and teaching in London and around the world since 2008. She applies modern therapeutic techniques to the ancient wisdom of Hatha Yoga.

The yoga session starts and ends with relaxation and breathing. During the session the golden rule is No Pain; if something hurts, it’s a sign to ease off, don’t strive, just breathe.

Gradually we mobilise joints, wake up our bodies, and use a sequence of standing postures to develop core strength and flexibility that will help us in daily lives. Throughout, we are learning to listen to our own bodies, to accept and be kind to ourselves. I hope you finish feeling relaxed, yet invigorated.

Chris is the best yoga instructor I've ever had. When work picked up I was unable to get to her classes so her CD was a lifesaver! It doesn't matter of you're a beginner or a pro, Chris gently guides you through the postures with a real emphasis on breath and relaxation. I recommend her and this CD wholeheartedly.

I love Chris' yoga, I always reach for this CD when I've missed a class or am on holiday with my family and need a quick get away from the noise of a family holiday - Chris' approach to yoga is very easy to follow and extremely beneficial with a good mix of stretching, traditional yoga poses and of course relaxation and restorative yoga - I would recommend this CD to all levels from complete beginners to absolute yoga pro's - its a perfect 'stay at home' class, and I never get bored of it!
