"Another gorgeous album by Young & Rusty! We picked their last album as a top album of 2014 and it looks like this one is headed in the same direction."
- Al Kniola (The Back Porch - WVPE, South Bend, IN)
"Usually takes me about 50 seconds to know if I am going to program a particular song for radio. 'Comeback Coming On' took only 30. Looking forward to hearing the entire album!"
- Jim Canales (Acoustic Revival - WWSP, St. Point, WI)
Young and Rusty are a Folk and Americana duo from Austin, Texas. Sue Young's pure voice and Rusty Nelson's rough edged vocals combine in a perfect blend. The songs and sound evoke a simpler time — cruising down a country road, wading in a cool creek, or taking a ferry boat ride across the Mississippi.
In 1985, Sue Young moved from New Mexico to Austin and became a four-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist and a 2013 Texas Music Awards nominee for Female Vocalist Of The Year. Rusty Nelson made his way to Austin by way of Lafayette, Louisiana and Corpus Christi, Texas. His songwriting career includes a writing deal with a publisher and a stint in Nashville. In 2009, Sue and Rusty teamed up. Their 2014 debut, "Back Road Love,” made the Folk DJ charts. It was listed in the top 30 albums of 2014 by Al Kniola and Norm Mast ("The Back Porch” - WVPE, South Bend, IN). Al calls “Comeback Coming On” "another gorgeous album”.
