Album Notes
Many moons ago my friend Vinny Mongeluzo showed me
this red wurlitzer electric piano in his cemetary of
forgotten musical instruments.I was so charmed the
first time I played it that I talked him into selling
it to me. it was not only the fact of it sounding good
with just the right amount of tremelo thru its tiny speakers, but it seemed to help me find good songs too.Like they were always there just waiting to be played.
All the songs on this cd were written on my little red wurlitzer piano with a little help from my musical friends:
Jorgen Carlsson,Steve Ferrone,Erik Eldenius Sheldon Gomberg,
Van Romaine,Bill Churchville,Patrick Warren,Lincoln Schleifer, Rob Paparozzi,Mike Campbell and Drew Zingg

Billy Hilson

When the music is like an old friend. . .
These are songs that don't quite take you back, because they never really left. This is music that has fused with synapse and spirit, and feels like you've been hearing it for years. Songs that slip on like some favorite timeless jacket, keeping the chill away on that fog-laced road at night, while you walk with only your thoughts because it is far too early to go back home. This may be new music, but it feels like it has been in deep rotation, always at the ready, always in the background, the soundtrack of a thoughtful, soulful life. Outstanding, Jeff!

it doesn't get much better than this
Wow - I'm blown away. Not since Peter Wolf's Sleepless have I been so excited about an album. This is a truly amzing collection of soulful songs from the heart. Imagine Peter Wolf's sincerity, the Boxing Ghandis' soul and Al Green's... well, Al Green-ness - all in one package. Absolutely brilliant. Well done Jeff... A+++++
