ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
An original and innovative score by composer Yuval Ron for the 2 hour documentary "Breaking the Maya Code" is featuring the unusual sounds of the Earth Harp (performed by instrument innovator William Close) and various pre-Colombian instruments. Mysterious sonic landscapes enfold as a sound meditation and an engaging journey through magical lands.
The film by director David Lebrun is a definitive look back at how a handful of pioneers deciphered the intricate system of hieroglyphs developed by the once-magnificent ancient Maya civilization.

Relaxxx
This CD is the soundtrack from the PBS documentary, "Breaking the Maya Code." $12 is a small price to pay for the beauty contained in these soundscapes. You will truly feel as if you are surrounded by Mayan ruins as you listen to this soundtrack. I put it on when I am craving a relaxing morning, and it does the job.

Love the Film, Love the Soundtrack
I saw Breaking the Maya Code on PBS a few years ago and I was just blown away by the story. I recently bought the soundtrack and is brought me right back to South America. This music is really neat and I listen to it all the time.
