ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What do you do when your best friend dies doing something you both love?

Paddle To The Ocean CD (& DVD)

In 2011 Zac toured his album ‘You Plan To Do Nothing’ from Ottawa ON, to Halifax NS using only a sea kayak and a bicycle. It was a journey Zac had intended to do with his friend Corey; who died during a kayaking adventure with Zac in Nova Scotia. The experience left Zac with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and inspired Zac’s latest project, Paddle To The Ocean.

Paddle To The Ocean is a music & film project about using a kayak, a banjo and a bicycle to recover from PTSD.

The Paddle To The Ocean soundtrack includes two original songs + eight instrumental songs featuring members of Acres and Acres and a poem by Halifax’s Poet–Laureate Tanya Davis.

Each purchase of the Paddle To The Ocean soundtrack includes a copy of the documentary film on DVD - directed by Kelsey Thompson.
