Album Notes
Zander Zon (a stage name) is a solo bassist from London whose home-made YouTube videos have over a million total views. Along with his original compositions such as 'Epic Love', Zander has arranged a variety of music for the solo bass guitar, ranging from Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven' to Pachelbel's 'Canon in D'.

Zander has released two solo albums, including the recently released 'Saturn Return', which features six new solo bass compositions, three orchestrations and an arrangement of Pachelbel's Baroque classic, 'Canon in D'. 'Saturn Return' follows his debut album, 'Sonorous', released in 2010. Containing 10 original solo bass compositions, 'Sonorous' is available on iTunes, Facebook MusicPlayer and CD Baby - where it has been a top seller.

In 2011, Bassline Publishing released the 'Zander Zon - Sonorous Bass Transcriptions' book, which contains tabs and sheet music for all of his compositions on 'Sonorous', as well as performance notes, interviews, and information on bass-setup. Zon Guitars' 2011 bass compilation holiday album, 'Holiday Rumblings', includes two pieces by Zander, as well as pieces by Michael Manring and other Zon Guitars artists. The album is currently available from the Zon Guitars website and all proceeds are donated to charity.

Zander has been featured in the UK's leading Bass Guitar Magazine as well as Bassline Publishing's 'Solo Arrangements for Electric Bass', which includes an interview along with a transcription of his compostion - 'I, Resolute'. He's also been featured at and at the International Institute of Bassists.

Zander has performed solo concerts, house concerts and weddings in the London area, and has gigged at prominent venues such as The Troubadour Club and The Cobden Club.
