Noel Paul Stookey is a founding member of the legendary folk trio "Peter, Paul & Mary." This song is from his 2007 solo album "Facets."
David Zee met the well-known folk singer and composer in 2001. David and his then-wife Ashley won The Music to Life song contest, sponsored by Noel's Public Domain Foundation for songs of social consciousness. When David heard the title song from Noel's "Facets" collection, he conceived it with a more elaborate arrangement. Eleven years later, the re-imagined version is complete.
