Two Friends in Five Days...Five years later
I uncovered this gem after browsing through Ziggy's website in an effort to get to know a little bit more about this really outstanding artist who has ties to the area I grew up in. What I listened to was a somber tribute to the lives of two of his good friends. I haven't known Ziggy a long time, but upon our first meeting, my immediate impression was that he is the kind of friend who is loving and affectionate, and he enjoys making people feel special. I'm sure the two friends he was referring to in this touching tribute felt the same way about him. It's rare and enlightening to see and hear an artist with an elite level of talent remain humble enough to openly acknowledge the pain of losing those who are dear to him. Ziggy, I know how difficult it must have been to write Two Friends in Five Days, but five years later, I'm here to remind you, that acts of kindness are timeless. The ripple effect is felt throughout eternity. Thank you for the love....
