Album Notes
Here is the brand new cd by ROBI ZONCA and his Band intitled :"YOU ALREADY KNOW"
Coproduced by Robi Zonca and the great Antonello "Jantoman" Aguzzi (from the pop group Elio e le Storie Tese) the album contains
12 tracks, 10 written by Robi, 1 by Robi and Stefano Galli (the other guitar player in the band) and Robi Zonca's reinterpretation of the classic Lennon-McCartney's "One after 909" in a bluesy-shuffled key and with an horns section.

My real goal is to play the music I feel. I do not try to play like the great black masters did, I do not try to play the tradition, I do not try to play a new kind of blues, I do not try to recuperate sounds from the past or something...... I just sit down, write the songs playing in my head, and then stand up and play it with my band . That's it!

Some songs from "YOU ALREADY KNOW" were brodcasted by BBC radio in U.K. after 3 days the album was avaiable! On sunday june 26 Blue Ears radio
from Amsterdam will start transmitting a special program for the international launch of the album
You can listen to the program all day long by streaming with a dsl connection.

Robi Zonca: lead vocals, guitars, bass,
Stefano Galli: guitar, backup vocals
Paolo Legramandi: bass, backup vocals
Marco Sacchitella: drums, percussions, backup vocals

On august 2005 Robi Zonca will be in New York City to promote his brand new album and he will play in Mount Vernon Blues festival (NYC) and some club gigs. He will have several interviews by radio-djs. in NYC area and after that in L.A. area.

Robi Zonca is the first indipendent italian artist widely broadcasted in the U.S.A.
In the past Robi played as sideman with the great Ginger Baker, with Andy J Forest, with James Tomphson, Ronnie Jones and many more, but now he leads his own band.
Several radios in New York City area have choosen songs from Robi's first cd "DO YOU KNOW?" after Bob Putignano, president of NY blues & jazz society, start trasmitting Robi's music from his program "Sounds of Blue"
At this time more than 90 radio stations all around the States are broadcasting songs from "DO YOU KNOW?"
The album recieved airplay at: WUCF,WCNI,WQLN,KYNR,WMPG,
WIUJ,KGUM,CKCK.... and so on, too long to write the complete list of the radio stations broadcasting songs from "DO YOU KNOW?"

great CD!
This is a great blues CD with some features that other blues CD's are missing. It's well recorded and the songs well recorded.I really like the harmonies. Great lead vocals too. Check out Tom Saputo
s Blue City CD as well, also sold on CD Baby.
