ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I Wrote the Music & Lyrics except for two songs. I Play all of the Instruments. My Connecticut / New York Friends join me here and there playing certain instruments that I requested, for certain songs. I wanted to put out music that I wanted to hear on the Radio, rather than what is out there today. So this is a CD for me - which I believe other people would enjoy as well. I was the Drummer in The Dummys, and the Rick Rivets Band (ex-New York Dolls).
Stephen Ellison was the Drummer for the Connecticut Band - The Dummys whose motto was: "When it comes to the Worst, We're the Best" which featured: Zames on Guitar, Jack Violence on Lead Guitar, Ben Madison on Bass ( a real Manequin ) & later Joe Snow - Bass, and Stephen on Drums. He later joined - The Rick Rivets Band / Corpse Grinders featuring Ex-New York Dolls / Brats /Corpse Grinders Rick Rivets-Guitar, Kenny Cruz on Bass, Stu Wilder (Corpse Grinders) on Vocals, and Stephen on Drums. "City Rockers" was the Import CD on Captain Trip - also available on Amazon. Which brings us to this CD - ZOUL "... afterlife" in which All Songs were Written, Sung & Performed by Stephen Ellison with some guest Musicians such as Connecticuts own: Gregg Won (Epitome) - Lead Guitars, Stoner (Punch) - Vocals, Tom Boudreau (Punch / Orphans) - Banjo, Bass, Guitars - Sean McDonough (Cadavers, Survivors, City Thrills, Smokeshop) - Guitars/Bass, Tommy Frenzy (Tuff Darts, Tommy Frenzy's Hard Drive) - Guitars/Bass/Vocals, Tom Andrukevich- Bass (Survivors, Mill Valley Taters, Zambonies), Mad Mike Cjekaj (Survivors, Live Ones) - Drums/Chorus Vocal, Kevin Roche - Guitars, Tom Hearn (Big Fat Combo) - Bk. Vocal, Joe Snow - (Dummys) Bass, Jimmy T. (Orphans) Lead Guitar Produced by Stephen Ellison Mixed and Recorded at Bonehead Studios, Cheshire CT. On Whiplash Records ASCAP Zoultuenz productions 2013
